PRESS RELEASE: PREPARATION OF THE NEXT TALK SHOW

Project «Advancing Media Freedom Through Legal Reform in Tajikistan», funded by the United Nations Democracy Fund (UNDEF)

Khujand, November 24, 2022.        

            Association «Public advisors of the Republic of Tajikistan» (APART) in partnership with the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Republic of Tajikistan and Public Organization «Rural Development Initiatives» (RDI)   within the framework of the project implementation «Advancing Media Freedom Through Legal Reform in Tajikistan» the purpose of which is to raise media awareness.  A talk show program was prepared on the topic "Law of the Republic of Tajikistan "On State Secrets"".

            This program talks about the concept of state secrets; when and for what purpose this law was adopted; what preventive measures entail non-compliance with the norms of this law; in which cases (border conflicts) the norms of this act are not enforced; what measures need to be taken to improve the level of legal literacy of citizens; as well as other issues  to related to  the program.
