Acceptance of materials for the Creative Pen contest has begun in Sughd

From October 1, the acceptance of materials for the regional competition “Creative Pen” has begun.

The annual Creative Pen contest is held on the initiative of the executive body of the state authority of the Sughd region among journalists.

This year the journalistic competition is timed to the 30th anniversary of the state independence of Tajikistan. The decision of the Chairman of the Sughd region to hold a competition for journalists was signed on June 21, 2021.

“The holding of the regional competition for journalists of Sogda is timed to the 30th anniversary of the state independence of Tajikistan. More precisely, the nomination “Displaying the achievements of the Republic of Tajikistan (for 30 years of independence)” has been included in the position of the competition. Also, materials can be submitted in the nominations “Problems related to the development of rural areas, tourism and folk crafts”, “Issues of industry”, “Issues of agriculture”, “Presentation of Tajikistan’s achievements over 30 years of independence (through television panoramas and Internet videos)”, – said Andar Rahmoni, specialist of the press service of the chairman of the region.

It should be noted that the Creative Pen competition for journalists has been held since 2014. The exception was 2020– the year of the spread of the COVID-19 virus.

According to the regulations of the competition, the acceptance of materials ends on October 20. The total prize fund is 132 thousand somoni.
