Public organization “Public advisors of the Republic of Tajikistan” started implementing the project “Providing information and legal support on migration and cross-border issues.” This project is funded by the European Union under the BOMCA 10 grant scheme. The BOMCA 10 program is implemented by a consortium of border management agencies of certain member countries of the European Union and the International Center for Development migration policy (ICMPD) led by the State Border Guard of the Republic of Latvia.
The goal of the project is aimed at promoting and ensuring the rights of migrants and their families, with an emphasis on people from rural and remote areas of the Sughd region to gain access to safe, reliable and high-quality information on migration and cross-border issues.
As part of the project, it is planned to hold a school for training paralegals, conduct online round tables, record and broadcast radio programs, a competition for the best essay among schoolchildren, a competition for the best publication among media representatives, the development and launch of a telegram-bot using AI, publication and distribution of information booklets and posters among project beneficiaries in the Sughd region.
