Project «Advancing Media Freedom Through Legal Reform in Tajikistan», funded by the United Nations Democracy Fund (UNDEF)
Khujand, April 5, 2021.
The Association “Public assessors of the Republic of Tajikistan”(APART) in partnership with the Commissioner for Human Rights of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Public Organization “Rural Development Initiatives” (RDI) launched the project «Advancing Media Freedom Through Legal Reform in Tajikistan»” and within the framework of of this project, three hot lines have been created in Dushanbe (Dushanbe and centrally subordinated districts), Khujand (Sughd region) and Kulyab (Khatlon region), whose activities include timely legal and psychological counseling for media representatives, discussion and solution of problems in this area and this activity is carried out by leading experts.
