«Advancing Media Freedom Through Legal Reform  in Tajikistan», funded by the United Nations Democracy Fund (UNDEF)

  Association «Public advisors of the Republic of Tajikistan» (APART) within the framework of the project implementation «Advancing Media Freedom Through Legal Reform in Tajikistan» the purpose of which is to raise media legal awareness, has prepared a talk show on the topic “Responsibility for the dissemination of false news in the media and on the Internet” which is currently being edited for broadcast.

This talk show covers such topical issues as legislative acts regulating the activities of the media and the Internet (social networks); whether a separate law on the Internet has been adopted in the Republic of Tajikistan; what liability is provided for the dissemination of false information in the media and on the Internet, especially in social networks; by whom and in what cases false news is most often disseminated, as well as legal advice will be provided to users of social networks.
